Women’s Day at Sherman UMC
Sherman UMC celebrates Women’s Day annually in May as a special tribute to the contributions of women to the broader community and society as well as to their communities of faith and in the building of their families and homes.
This year we focus on the theme “Who Is my Neighbor?” with passages from Matthew 22:34-45 (“The Greatest Commandment”) and Luke 10:29-37 (“The Good Samaritan”). Our service is open to the public and begins at 10:30 am. We will host a reception following worship at 12:30 pm.
