Office Administrator – OPEN as of March 15, 2018

Sherman UMC is currently seeking an administrative secretary to serve part-time (12-16 hours per week). This position will report to the pastor and perform the following essential job functions: maintain sensitive and confidential files; type, collate and assemble copies of church bulletins, reports, and letters; answer phones and take messages; sort and distribute mail; order office supplies, and; perform other clerical/administrative tasks as assigned.

Must be detail-oriented and able to work with minimum supervision, have a professional phone manner, excellent communication skills, and the ability to use Microsoft Office and Outlook proficiently. We offer $12.50/hour, a pleasant work environment close to public transportation, and a flexible work schedule when necessary and approved.
