2019 BLACK HISTORY MONTH OBSERVANCE
Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary is sponsoring the Black History Month Observance again next year, in collaboration with Northwestern University, Shorefront Legacy Center, and other Churches in the Evanston Community. We will be keeping some of our same timeframe. However, the time for the 1960s, and time from 2000 to 2016, will be reassigned to another station. On this year, our timeframe will be The Second Reconstruction, Neo-Redeemer Movement – 1970’s – 1990’s. This shaves off over 30 years from last year’s program. Darlene Eady has agreed to serve as the Chairperson of this Committee on this year. We are looking for volunteers to assist. Please see Darlene Eady if you are interested in serving.
