— Sherman’s United Methodist Women thank every one who contributed canned and dry goods for the seniors at Ebenezer Primm Towers.

— In 2017, Sherman will head the Soup Kitchen at St. Paul’s on the following dates: April 23, August 13, December 3

— Sherman’s last soup was kitchen on Sunday, November 13th at St. Paul Lutheran Church.

— The Interfaith Action of Evanston will staff an emergency overnight shelter between November 15 and March 15. The shelter will only operate when the temperature is 15 degrees or below and will rotate among six different faith communities. Volunteers are greatly needed. Interested volunteers are required to attend one of the following training sessions from 7:00 to 8:30 pm held at St. Paul‘s Lutheran Church, 1004 Greenwood St in Evanston:

  • Thursday, October 27
  • Tuesday,   November 1
  • Monday, November 7
  • Tuesday, December 6
